Freedom Through Breathing
The Buteyko Breathing Educators Association
A non-profit organization providing standards and registration of
Buteyko Breathing Educators worldwide
The Buteyko Breathing Educators Association (BBEA) is a non-profit, international professional association supporting and promoting the Buteyko Breathing Technique. The BBEA provides standards, testing, training, support and formal registration for its educators. This ensures anyone who seeks help from a BBEA registered educator receives the safest, highest quality service and results possible.
Our BBEA registered educators are required to undergo rigorous training in the Buteyko Breathing Technique from a registered BBEA Buteyko Trainer. They can be found throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia, Asia and South America. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences and many have had their own health and lives transformed by the Buteyko Breathing Technique.
The Buteyko Breathing Technique is a medically researched and scientifically confirmed breath retraining technique that reverses the condition of over-breathing or hyperventilation. Research shows hyperventilation can result in 150 different health conditions, the most common of which are asthma, allergies, sleep problems and anxiety. With breath retraining, clients typically see symptom relief in as little as one or two weeks.
Come Join Us! The growth of the Buteyko Breathing Technique has created career opportunities for many Buteyko Educators. Some Educators provide general education on the Buteyko Breathing Technique while others specialize in different interest areas. Still others combine the Buteyko Breathing Technique with other health modalities. The BBEA maintains a list of registered trainers ready to help you become a Buteyko Educator.
